Characteristics and Applications of Aramid-Aluminum Foil Composite Fabric

1. Heat Insulation and Thermal Protection Performance

Reflective Heat Insulation: The aluminum foil layer can reflect more than 95% of radiant heat, effectively isolating high temperatures (suitable for radiation environments of 1000℃–1300℃) and reducing heat conduction.

Flame Retardant and High Temperature Resistance: The aramid base material is self-extinguishing; the long-term use temperature range is -196℃ to 380℃, and it can withstand 500℃ high temperatures for short periods.

Low Thermal Conductivity: The composite structure significantly reduces heat transfer, avoiding the burning sensation for operators.

2. Mechanical and Physical Properties

High Strength and Tear Resistance: High tensile strength in both warp and weft directions, wear-resistant, cut-resistant, and resistant to repeated bending.

Sealing and Protection: Airtight, waterproof, smooth surface, suitable for moisture-proof, fog-proof, and corrosion-resistant scenarios.

Lightweight and Soft: Elastic and comfortable, suitable for making wearable protective equipment.

3. Chemical Stability

Acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, chemical-resistant, anti-aging, suitable for chemical environments.
