Aramid 1313 + knitted cotton composite felt is used to produce the inner lining of fire suits

Para-aramid 1313 (meta-aramid) combined with knitted cotton felt combines the high-temperature resistance and flame-retardant properties of aramid with the softness and comfort of cotton fibers, forming a high-performance, multifunctional material.

High-Temperature Resistance

Long-term temperature resistance of 200℃, short-term temperature resistance of 300℃, begins to decompose above 370℃, and carbonizes at 400℃, far exceeding ordinary chemical fibers and natural fibers.

Flame Retardancy

Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) ≥28%, self-extinguishing after removal from flame, no dripping during combustion, low smoke and non-toxic, meeting environmental protection standards.

Chemical Stability

Resistant to strong acids and organic solvents, hydrolysis resistant, suitable for chemical and marine environments.

Mechanical Properties

Tensile strength ≥50MPa, elastic, excellent wear resistance, knitted cotton layer enhances flexibility and wearing comfort. The aramid layer provides protective performance, while the knitted cotton enhances breathability and fit, suitable for dynamic work scenarios.

Application Areas of Para-aramid 1313 + Knitted Cotton Composite Felt

1. High-Temperature Industrial Filtration

Equipped with aramid composite filter bags, suitable for cement plants and steel plants.

Often used for high-temperature dust filter bags and filter materials for chemical plant exhaust gas treatment.

2. Firefighting and Safety Protection

The composite felt, as an inner lining layer, carbonizes when exposed to fire, forming a heat insulation barrier, reducing the probability of burns.

Often used in the manufacture of inner linings for fire suits, arc-resistant clothing, high-temperature gloves, and flash explosion-proof hoods and gloves for special forces.

3. Industrial Heat Insulation and Sealing

Pipeline insulation layers, engine compartment heat insulation pads, high-temperature equipment seals.

4. Special Clothing and Home Textiles

Arc-resistant work clothes for the power industry, high-temperature clothing linings, flame-retardant home products (curtains, seat fillings).

Through material innovation, Para-aramid 1313 + knitted cotton composite felt achieves a balance between "protection" and "comfort" in high-temperature and high-risk scenarios, becoming an important material for industrial upgrading and safety protection.

In the future, with the development of intelligent and lightweight technologies, its applications in industrial protection, new energy vehicles, and deep space exploration will accelerate.
