Aramid pre-oxidized fiber blended woven fabric

Aramid pre-oxidized fiber blended woven fabric has high temperature resistance and flame retardancy characteristics Pre-oxidized fiber: decomposition temperature ≥640℃, limiting oxygen index (LOI) 40~60, does not melt or drip when exposed to fire, only carbonizes. Aramid: temperature resistant to 560℃, maintains strength at high temperatures. Synergistic effect: After blending, the long-term use temperature reaches 220~300℃, short-term tolerance of 700℃, and flame retardancy is better than pure aramid.

Has excellent mechanical and chemical properties, high strength and wear resistance. Aramid provides high strength and high modulus (5-6 times the strength of steel wire), pre-oxidized fiber improves flexibility, tear resistance is improved after blending, overcoming the brittle disadvantage of pre-oxidized fiber.

Chemical stability resistant to acids, alkalis, oils and organic solvents, hydrolysis resistant, suitable for chemical environments.

Processing and environmental advantages, low smoke and non-toxic when burning, biodegradable, replacing harmful materials such as asbestos.

 

Application fields of aramid pre-oxidized fiber blended woven fabric

High temperature protective equipment

Firefighting and industrial protective clothing: steelmaking suits, welding suits (temperature resistance up to 1000℃ after aluminum foil coating), blocking sparks and radiant heat.

Fire blanket/escape blanket: emergency fire extinguishing tool, aluminum foil coating enhances reflective heat insulation performance.

Industrial sealing and filtration

Asbestos-free sealing gaskets: high temperature and high pressure resistance (300℃), used for pipe flanges and valve seals.

High temperature filter bags: garbage incineration, power plant dust filtration (temperature resistance 300℃+ chemical corrosion resistance), filtration efficiency is significantly improved when the aramid content is >10%.

Civil and transportation fields

Daily necessities: incense burner fireproof pad, ashtray fireproof layer, bag fireproof lining (black pre-oxidized fiber composite aluminum foil paper).

Transportation vehicle interiors: high-speed rail/aircraft seat fire retardant layer, bulkhead heat insulation material.

Emerging fields

New energy vehicle battery fire protection: battery pack heat insulation layer, preventing thermal runaway.

Aerogel composite substrate: ultra-low thermal conductivity (0.013 W/(m·K)), used for aerospace heat insulation components.

 

Processing technology of aramid pre-oxidized fiber blended woven fabric

Aluminum foil coating process: composite aluminum foil layer on the surface of the base fabric, enhancing heat reflection ability (customizable weight required).

The color of aramid pre-oxidized fiber blended aluminum foil fabric is dark green/bean green, used for steelmaking worker fire-proof clothing fabric, fireproof rolling shutter, and special uniforms.
