Characteristics of Aramid 1313 Flame-Retardant and Abrasion-Resistant Fabric
① High Temperature Resistance ：Can stably operate at high temperatures of 200℃ for extended periods, suitable for high-temperature environments such as beside boilers, near furnaces, and welding workshops. Aramid 1313 maintains over 90% of its strength. In the event of a sudden fire, the fiber does not melt or drip; only the surface carbonizes to form a heat insulation barrier (carbonization layer temperature > 1000℃).
② Good Dimensional Stability ：Low thermal shrinkage, preventing seal failure in high-temperature environments.
③ Flame Retardant and Fireproof ：Limiting Oxygen Index LOI ≥ 28%, no flame retardants needed, no dripping or toxic smoke during combustion, self-extinguishing.
④ Corrosion Resistance ：Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, and organic solvents.
⑤ Abrasion and Cut Resistance ：Good mechanical properties, high strength, and abrasion resistance.
Applications of Aramid 1313 Flame-Retardant and Abrasion-Resistant Fabric
① Firefighting suits thermal insulation layer, arc protective clothing, petrochemical anti-splash suits
Can be spun into a thermal insulation liner for firefighting suits, reducing the occurrence of heat stroke and burns. In the field of electric arc protection suits, it can be spun into detachable protective aprons and face mask pads, suitable for substation inspection robots.
② Iron and steel metallurgy, garbage incineration, new energy materials, semiconductor filter bags
Sintering machine head flue gas filter bags in steel plants, high-temperature resistant, efficient dust filtration, corrosion-resistant, can also be made into filter bags for the tail gas treatment of lithium battery cathode material calcination furnaces.
③ Cable-wrapped pipe sleeves, motor sealing buffer materials
Can be used in aerospace, shipbuilding, and new energy equipment sealing equipment, high-temperature seals for aero-engines, acid-resistant conveyor belts for ships, vibration isolation pads for wind turbine gearboxes, molded gear inserts, filling metal gaps. It has sealing, shock absorption, and damping functions.
④ Power batteries, photovoltaic, hydrogen energy power battery fire isolation film
In the application of new energy batteries, it can isolate high temperatures, be flame-retardant and fireproof, and slow down the spread of thermal runaway; in the application of photovoltaic polycrystalline silicon casting furnace systems, it can effectively insulate and reduce heat loss.
