Navy blue aramid flame-retardant fabric with antistatic properties, suitable for protective clothing in the electronics and petrochemical industries.

In the field of industrial safety and personal protective equipment, the ultimate mission of protective gear is to establish a reliable life-saving barrier for workers even in extreme environments. Kaidun Industrial is proud to introduce a navy-blue checkered flame-retardant fabric made from 93% aramid 1313, 5% aramid 1414, and 2% antistatic fibers.

93% aramid 1313 It inherently possesses excellent flame-retardant properties, with a limiting oxygen index (LOI) exceeding 28. When exposed to high temperatures or flames, it neither melts nor drips; instead, it rapidly chars and expands, forming a dense thermal insulation barrier that effectively blocks heat transfer and buys precious time for personnel evacuation. Its outstanding thermal stability enables it to maintain its performance over the long term in environments up to 220℃, and it can even withstand short-term temperatures as high as 560℃.

5% Aramid 1414 It boasts high strength and high modulus, enhancing the fabric’s tear resistance, puncture resistance, and abrasion resistance. This not only significantly extends the service life of protective clothing but also ensures that, in harsh industrial and mining environments, the garments are less likely to lose their protective capabilities due to physical damage.

2% antistatic fiber The 2% antistatic fibers are woven into a continuous conductive network within the fabric, enabling instantaneous dissipation of static charges accumulated on the human body and effectively preventing fire and explosion accidents caused by electrostatic discharge.

The flame-retardant fabric—93% aramid 1313 + 5% aramid 1414 + 2% antistatic fiber (navy blue check)—possesses the following characteristics:

1. Flame Retardancy, Fire Resistance, and Thermal Protection: The fabric is entirely woven from aramid fibers with inherent flame-retardant properties, enabling it to maintain its protective performance even after multiple industrial washes. It is suitable for use in hazardous work environments involving direct exposure to flames, thermal radiation, and heat flows. When exposed to high-temperature flames, the fabric chars directly without dripping or melting, effectively preventing the spread of fire.

2. Durability and cost-effectiveness: Thanks to the incorporation of high-strength aramid 1414 fiber into the fabric, the material boasts enhanced performance, significantly improved durability, and a longer service life. This markedly reduces replacement frequency, yielding substantial long-term economic benefits.

3. Intrinsic antistatic safety assurance: The fabric’s surface charge density meets antistatic standards and is suitable for industries—such as petroleum, chemical, and electronics—that are sensitive to static electricity.

4. Excellent Chemical Resistance and Practicality: Aramid fibers themselves possess outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, and most chemical solvents, ensuring that the fabric maintains its structural integrity and functional stability even in complex chemical environments. Meanwhile, the navy-blue checkered design is not only aesthetically pleasing and professional-looking but also boasts excellent stain resistance and easy recognizability. The fabric also features good breathability and moisture permeability, and can be further enhanced with a three-proof treatment (water-repellent, oil-repellent, and stain-resistant), thereby boosting its protective performance and wearing comfort.

This fabric is an ideal choice for the following high-risk industries:

1. Firefighting and Emergency Rescue: Used to manufacture firefighters’ fire-fighting suits, forest fire-prevention suits, and hazardous-materials disposal suits, providing comprehensive protection for rescue personnel.

2. Oil, Chemicals, and Natural Gas: From upstream oilfield drilling to downstream refining plants, these materials are ideal for manufacturing explosion-proof workwear, inspection uniforms, and welder’s apparel—providing robust protection against the risks of flash fires, electric arcs, and static electricity.

3. Power and Electronics Industry: Suitable for arc-flash protective clothing, work uniforms for substation operations, and cleanroom attire for precision electronics manufacturing, providing protection against electrical hazards and static electricity damage.

4. Military and Aerospace: Applied to pilot uniforms, ground crew equipment, and special operations attire, meeting the field’s requirements for equipment reliability, durability, and multi-functionality.

This product features exceptional fabric performance and outstanding quality. Choosing this aramid flame-retardant fabric with a 93/5/2 composition is not only a selection of a high-quality material—it’s also a commitment to employee safety, a relentless pursuit of enhanced production efficiency, and a forward-looking approach to the sustainable development of our company.
