Pre-oxidized fiber composite adhesive felt is an advanced composite material that combines the excellent properties of pre-oxidized fiber materials with the convenience of an adhesive backing.
Excellent high-temperature resistance:
Pre-oxidized fiber is a product of low-temperature heat treatment (200-300°C) of polyacrylonitrile tow in a specific atmosphere, and the molecular structure begins to transform into a ladder structure. This gives the pre-oxidized fiber itself excellent thermal stability, with a long-term use temperature of 200-250°C and an instantaneous temperature resistance of up to 1000°C or even higher (depending on the processing technology and formula), far exceeding that of most common synthetic fibers (such as polyester, nylon) and natural fibers.
Excellent flame retardancy and self-extinguishing properties:
Pre-oxidized fiber is non-melting and non-dripping in air, and when it comes into contact with flames, it carbonizes and forms a heat-insulating carbon layer, preventing the spread of flames and the entry of oxygen.
It has a high limiting oxygen index (usually above 40%), and is an inherently flame-retardant material that can achieve a high flame-retardant rating without the need for additional flame retardants.
Good heat insulation:
Pre-oxidized fiber itself has a low thermal conductivity.
The felt structure contains a large amount of stagnant air inside, forming an effective heat insulation layer. This composite structure makes it an excellent heat-insulating and heat-preserving material.
A certain degree of chemical stability:
Pre-oxidized fiber has a certain resistance to most organic solvents, weak acids, and weak alkalis, superior to untreated acrylic fibers.
Good mechanical properties and flexibility:
Pre-oxidized fibers retain considerable strength and flexibility (although lower than carbon fibers, but far higher than fully carbonized carbon fibers).
The felt form gives the material good compressibility, resilience, and cushioning properties, and is easy to cut, fold, and shape.
Low smoke and non-toxic:
When pre-oxidized fiber decomposes or burns at high temperatures, the amount of smoke and toxic gases produced is far less than that of many other polymer materials, meeting higher fire safety requirements.
Functionality of the adhesive layer:
Convenient installation: The adhesive backing allows the felt to be easily adhered to the surfaces of metal, plastic, wood, and other substrates, without the need for complex mechanical fixing, simplifying the assembly process and improving efficiency.
Sealing and shock absorption: The adhesive layer can fill small gaps, providing a certain degree of sealing effect (such as dust prevention, sound insulation). At the same time, the adhesive layer and the felt work together to provide good cushioning and shock absorption performance.
Maintaining shape and position: After adhesion, it effectively prevents the felt from shifting, falling off, or deforming during use.

High-temperature heat insulation and fire protection:
Industrial equipment: Heat shielding, heat insulation, and fire blankets/curtains for high-temperature furnaces, ovens, hot air ducts, welding equipment, engine compartments, exhaust pipes, etc.
Electronics and electrical appliances: Heat and fire barriers between lithium battery packs (cells/modules), power supplies, inverters, motors, etc., to prevent heat accumulation or spread.
Construction and transportation: Fireproof door core materials, fire blocking of building gaps, fireproof and heat-insulating layers of ship/train bulkheads, car engine hood/firewall heat insulation pads.
Flame-retardant sealing and cushioning:
Flame-retardant sealing, shock absorption, and noise reduction materials for the inner walls of electronic device housings.

Sealing strips for home appliances and industrial equipment
Single-sided adhesive pre-oxidized fiber strips are used for sealing the door seams of ovens, grills, microwaves, and other home appliances, providing heat insulation, fire protection, and shock absorption functions, with a temperature resistance of over 250℃.
Electronic equipment sealing and cushioning
Adhered to the inner walls of cabinets, power boxes, and battery pack housings, it combines flame-retardant sealing, shock absorption, and noise reduction, preventing internal components from being damaged by vibration or high temperatures.

Building and industrial sound insulation filling
Used as a filler for soundproof walls in offices and hotels, or as sound insulation cotton for audio equipment, headphones, etc., to reduce noise transmission.
Sound insulation layer for home appliances and engines
Applied to home appliances such as washing machines and air conditioners, or engine compartments with high noise levels, it is fixed to the inside of the shell using adhesive backing to achieve both sound insulation and shock absorption.
